Privacy Statement
Two editions, two different privacy stories
Creetos Sales Suite comes in two editions, and how your data is handled depends on which one you use:
- Offline download — a single file that runs on your own device. Local-only.
- Hosted (online) service — an account you sign in to, with your data synced to our servers so you can reach it from any of your devices.
Read the section for the edition you use.
Offline download edition — private by design
The download edition is private by design. There is no account, no login, and no cloud. Everything you enter is stored only in your own browser, on your own device. We do not receive it, and we cannot see it. Specifically, it has:
- no user accounts or sign-in;
- no analytics, telemetry, or tracking;
- no advertising or third-party trackers;
- no external network calls — it is self-contained and works fully offline.
The only time your data leaves your device is when you choose to export it (downloading a backup file, or printing/saving a quote as a PDF). Those files then live wherever you save or send them.
Hosted (online) service — what we collect and why
If you use the hosted service, you sign in to an account and your data syncs to our servers so it is available across your devices. To provide that, we process:
- Account and authentication data — the email address you sign in with, and the credentials/session information needed to authenticate you and keep your account secure.
- Your workspace — the sales data you enter (deals, contacts, quotes, invoices, and everything else) is stored as your own document in our database so it can sync. It remains yours; we store it only to provide the service to you.
- Support messages — if you contact us through the in-app help form, we receive the name, email, subject, and message you send, so we can reply.
That is the whole list. For the hosted service we do not:
- run analytics, telemetry, advertising, or third-party trackers;
- profile you or build a marketing profile from your data;
- sell, rent, or trade your data, or share it with anyone for their own purposes.
Where hosted data lives and who can see it
Your account and workspace are stored in our managed PostgreSQL database, hosted on our behalf by our infrastructure provider. Access is restricted at the database level so that each account can reach only its own workspace — other customers cannot see your data, and our staff access it only when necessary to operate the service or to help you with support.
Keeping and deleting hosted data
We keep your workspace for as long as your account is active. You can export your data at any time with the built-in Back up to file feature. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete your workspace document and account record; support messages you have sent may be retained as needed for our records and to meet legal obligations.
Backups are your responsibility (both editions)
No backup is ever perfect, and the download edition syncs nothing at all, so you are responsible for keeping your own backups. Use the built-in Back up to file option regularly and keep a copy somewhere safe. In the download edition, clearing your browser's site data or using private/incognito mode will lose anything not backed up.
Sub-processors (hosted service)
The hosted service runs on third-party infrastructure — hosting, plus the managed database and authentication provider — that processes data on our behalf under its own security and privacy commitments. We do not add advertising or analytics processors.
